China’s Chery to introduce new brand Omoda in Russia
MOSCOW, Jun 20 (PRIME) -- China’s car producer Chery plans to introduce new high middle brand Omoda in Russia as an alternative to Japanese and German cars, the company said in a statement on Monday.
First dealer agreements are to be signed this summer, the company said.
The brand’s model line will consist of three models, two sport utility vehicles (SUV) and a sedan, which will be presented until the summer of 2023. The model line will be expanded and upgraded by 2025.
The debut model will be Omoda C5 SUV.
